(NOTE: In cases involving potential gifts to the Museum, regulations of the Internal Revenue Service require that a third disinterested party perform appraisals of tax-deductible gifts to non-profit institutions, such as the Museum. Currently, there is no legal certification of personal property appraisers and no government-required testing for the profession. There are, however, codified standards. If you require an IRS-approved appraisal, be sure to consult a certified appraiser.)

• Popular culture items (how the nuclear age infiltrated into everyday life)
• 1950s era mannequins - male, female, child
• 1950s era clothing (for the mannequins to wear)
• Artifacts relating to atmospheric testing (scale nuclear bomb models,
  diagrams, images)
• Physics/atom-related material from the 1950s (i.e., classroom or lab   models of an atom, teaching aids)
• 1950s wall clock (similar to the one you would see hanging in a Mercury   office at the NTS
• Civil Rights Movement audio/visual footage, photographs, artifacts
• Moon landing audio/visual footage, photographs
• Vietnam War audio/visual footage, artifacts
• Anti-war, anti-nuclear protests audio/visual footage, artifacts
• Science and Innovation (universal applications of
  discoveries/inventions at the Nevada Test Site) - artifacts, displays
• 1950s wall calender (either of Las Vegas, Cashman Equipment, Holmes &   Narver, or other NTS contractor from the 1950's
• 1950s pack of cigarettes/matches
