The management of the NTSHF is vested in a Board of Trustees. The Board is responsible for the policies of the Foundation and delegates responsibility for day-to-day operations to the Officers. The Board is designed to consist of not more than 48 members, who serve for terms of three consecutive years or until their successors are elected.

All NTSHF members whose dues are current are eligible for election to the Board and to vote for Board members names to be placed into nomination.
