Lockheed Martin Donates $100,000 to NTSHF

Lockheed Martin Nevada Technologies has presented a $100,000 grant to the Nevada Test Site Historical Foundation to support the design, fabrication, and installation of exhibits at the Atomic Testing Museum.

"We are please to play a role in the preservation of a critical piece of our nation's history," stated Harry Saxton, president of Lockheed Martin Nevada Technologies. "The public will learn a great deal from the museum and gain a richer perspective of the role the [Nevada] Test Site played in safeguarding our national security."

"Lockheed Martin's contribution to the Nation's nuclear program have spanned the 50-year history of the Nevada Test Site," said Troy Wade, NTSHF President. "It's clear that this corporation shares our view of the deep importance the test site plays in our nation's historical landscape."

Lockheed Martin Nevada Technologies (LMNT) is part of a three-company team that manages operations at the Nevada Test Site and its related facilities and laboratories for the U.S. Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration.
